North Yorkshire County Council confirms public support for SELRAP

In a Statement by the NYCC Rail Officer, he claims there was not the same level of public support for reopening the Harrogate to Ripon route when compared to similar campaigns such as at Skipton to Colne,

Does this signify support by North Yorkshire Unitary Authority and by implication the new North Yorkshire York Combined Authority, as Graham North is now their strategy and performance rail officer?

SELRAP should use this support to receive a grant towards the cost of reopening the Colne to Skipton Railway between the NY boundary and Skipton, as the the NYUA/NYYCA has been awarded nearly £400 million for Transport Projects in North Yorkshire.
